Scavenger Hunt Sunday: December 12, 2010

It's that time again.  Time to share the photos I took for Scavenger Hunt Sunday, hosted by Ashley over at Ramblings and Photos.  This week's items were:
Holiday Colors
Winter/holiday icon
A tree
Quiet
Your favorite color

Here are my interpretations:

Holiday Colors
I loved the shine that reflected off of the green and red Christmas garland wrapped around our railing.

Holiday Icon

Jesus is the reason for the season.  Once again I really liked the shine on the garland.  I used the garland thinking it looked a bit like the hay baby Jesus would have been laid upon.

A Tree

The library where we go to Story Time every Friday has a display of Christmas trees out front that different organizations can decorate.  I loved this angel tree, though the halo is camouflaged.

Quiet

Here we have a quiet baby.  When are babies quiet?  When they are asleep of course. And sleeping babies do sort of go with the Christmas theme.

My favorite color

My mother made me this sweater vest recently.  It has a couple of different shades of purple, my favorite color.

  1. ha ha.. glad to not be the only one late! ;)
Love that sleeping baby... peaceful little monkeys when they sleep! My little vintage tree is about 12-14 inches high... the balls are smaller than a peanut m & m's... ;)

  5. I like the sparkle/flare off the garland, too.

Unique tree decorating - pretty cool.

And sleeping babies are my favorite - although a laughing baby is a rather close 2nd. :)
